I voted other. I would take Bush over Kerry any day, but I can not swallow Bush spending money like a drunk Ted Kennedy at a strip joint. I will most likely vote my beliefs and vote Libertarian (for president). I will vote Republican for U.S. Senate , U.S. House, and S.C. House, but I will vote for a conservative Democrat for S.C Senate.

I wish we could get enough people together to legitimize the Libertarian party. I seem to fall into their platform even better than the Republican platform, but they are just too weak. I'll never vote for Democrats on a national basis (unless Hillary gets the 2008 Republican bid).

J Baxter, it is good see somebody else having libertarian leanings. I would love to see Ron Paul win the Republican nomination in 2008. I can not see how a real conservative can stomach Bush, unless it is just to stop Kerry from becoming president. The only way to stop Islamic/Arab/Middle Eastern terrorism in the US is to make the Middle East irrelevant to the US by eliminating our dependence upon their oil. If we could make ethanol from American corn and maybe belnd it with a little LA/OK/TX oil, we could reduce the Middle East to a sand box full of camel jockeys.

i voted for Bush. you know, a big majority of our population do not have a clue about the candidates issues and what they stand for. Kerry chose Edwards for a running mate not because of anything outstanding he has ever done as a politician, but because he is young and he wants a lot of the younger voters to vote for him because he is young. Edwards political career spans one (1) term in the U.S Senate, polls taken in his home state showed he did not have a very good chance to get re-elected, so he ran for president. Before that he was a civil attorney and has won approximately $150,000,000. in lawsuits over the years for his clients. So we have a die hard liberal and couldn't get re-elected senator on one ticket, and our current president on the other. Our current president has finally brought credibility to the white house, and to the rest of the world. He has made americans proud to be Americans, and has not bowed down to the United Nations, foreign terrorists, the French, and middle eastern countries where they still live like rats. And i'm glad we still have Canada because people like Vickie need a place to call home.

I picked other after reading the comment by Copenhagen about the Middle East issues.......sounds super! I vote for issues not the party...neither Democraps or Repukeicans have a strong platforms...full of promises to be broken as soon they are voted into the White House.
PS Bush resembles a lot like the late Ronnie Reagan...look all good in front of the cameras and sneaky in the background.....

I'm waiting to see if Florida can figure out how to count. If we don't buy the oil out of the middle east somebody else will, meaning there is enough world demand. We need thier oil, when it's gone we have ours and we hold all the chips.

Bush all the way!

As that old Texas politician, Lyndon Johnson, was rumored to have said, "Vote early and vote often".

Are you sure? I thought it was either Al Capone or the Chicago Mayor, Richard Daly!

Originally it wa Daly, the first Daly. That was when the political machine held sway in Chicago.

Good eye Bill. I've really got to get a new fact checker. I checked at least half a dozen "Famous Quotes" web sites and every one of them attribute the quote to Al Capone.

Well, it is not hard really, if you believe in freedom and the right to persue capitalism and don't want this currently free nation to be run by a bunch of socialist flip ploping pussies, You will vote for Bush

Frankly, anyone who says Bush is an Idiot is one, the man has a good education, has actually worked for a living and been a successful business man, not a leach of of his wife's money,

He has always told the trueth, he does not have to lie, because he tells the trueth and does not have to think about what to say before he says it, because he doesn't have the spend 30 minutes thinking of what lie he told, so he can keep all his lies staight

Kerry does not know his ass from a hole in the ground, and I hope he falls into one, if he is elected I would volunteer to help in a nation revolt and take over of the democrats that try and wreck this counrty, If you look at Democrats from 50 years ago, they stood for what the Republicans of today stand for, These new democrats are nothing but lazy socialists that want to take what you have worked hard for and disperse it among them selves, they have no intention of helping the poor, homeless, or jobless,

how many jobs have the democrats created? not many, how many has George Bush Jr. (Quite a few) our economy has grown and continues to improve

Yet democrats say well He is in the pocket of big business, I think not, he suports legitamate businesses, not corrupt business like Clinton did, in fact he shut them all down, caught them in the act and busted them hard core

No Weapons of Mass destruction, well if memory serves, they did find all the makings for WMD's and removed them from the country, yep they are not there now, because we moved the materials to make them and the access to them, You DO NOT bow down to terrorists, You Cut there heads off and remove the problem, just like a venomous snake in your yard, you don't leave it there to continue to pose a threat, you chop off it head and burry it PERIOD, bite my as* if you think different
