I damaged the PTO shaft and my tedder and had to get a new piece.
It is an "acorn" shaped import shaft.
Measured the sides point to point before I called to see if the repair place had it.
Turns out I needed to measure from the one point which is flat to the outside of the opposite side. Works better if you have a metric rule.
He had one piece 24" and another 47". The 24" would have been too short to give me enough overlap.
I'm sure a lot of you knew this but for those that don't, it might help you get the right replacement.
Glad we've got a guy in Staunton who carries components like that. Beats having to buy the yoke and all just to get fixed.
