it was not an easy birth. Labor started at 7:00 a.m. on this heifer. Seen her strain a lot and after 3 hours she had quit.
I got her in the squeeze shoot and found one leg was folded under. After getting a neighbor to help. He got the leg back up and with several tugs, the calf would not budge.
We then used a comalong to help. After a few minutes the calf was out and momma was up.
All is well and a nice bull calf to end the season.
