Last Calf Of Season

My last calf of the season has arrived today. Went by on the way to church to check on them, and saw a new shiny white face bobbing alongside momma! She'd already been cleaned up and nursed, dark red with 100% pigment around the eyes. Hope to take pictures tomorrow. Dandy calf. Third trouble free calf for the cow, and first heifer calf. L1M is the mother for those of you who have seen the pictures in the past.

Had the last calf a couple of weeks ago, a late breeder that has already cycled so she'll get back on schedule. Breeding starts next week, no rest for the wicked I guess.
