We had our last 2019 calf yesterday.

A 84 lb black heifer by JB Boulder (Morgan Rivers Zamora x JB Navarra) out of LGR Empress (sired by Kara Kara Burleigh). Purebred Murray Grey heifer. She should have a nice terminal look but not sure that she will stay in the herd. Her dam was hard to get bred and didn't end up calving until 32 months. Leaving Empress with the bull for immediate rebreed otherwise we will burger her. Boulder has given us early maturing females that are quick to get pregnant so I hope that puts this heifer in a better position to be a fertile cow otherwise she will make a good market heifer.

We were pretty pleased with our 2019 calves in all. Didn't keep any as bulls due to high BW or just didn't like the look.

1/2 brothers: Two Byrds Guinness Oct 2019 and Fantom Nov 2018 (steered both)
