Meteorologists are predicting La Nina starting in December.
La Nina is the opposite of El Nino.

La Nina is expected to bring a cold stormy winter across the North and a mild dry winter across the South. With worsening drought conditions for South Western USA and elevated fire risks for that area in 2022.

Yes it is looking like a la nina here for late spring, early summer but the good news for us is a good chance of higher rainfall during our growing season. Spring has been pretty good so far, good clover around and temperate grasses. Sept/ Oct can be our toughest months waiting for the storms to happen.

Does Nina, Pinta, and Santa Maria also sound racist?
Just because someone discovers something and didn't name that something in 'our' language doesn't make it racist.
Spanish is the 3rd most commonly spoken language in the world and the 2nd most commonly used language here in the US.
