I gave several shots SQ for footrot about 3 weeks ago to my bred angus/simmental heifer. Now she's got big knots where I gave the shots...did I do something wrong? Anything to worry about? thanks.....
I had to give my calf antibiotic shpts when she went through surgery for an infected umbilical cord. They were IM and she developed knots. They slowly went down for about a week after the shot regimen stopped and the knots were gone soon after. I'm new at all this, but I'm sure your are all good.
