Justice Kennedy Announces Retirement

Help Support CattleToday:

The Democrats taking the Senate in 2018 is difficult. But the margins are razor thin. Particularly in Tennesse where the Republican candidate is considered to be not the brightest candidate (and quite frankly a yes to whatever girl- that is the Republican perception not mine) and the Democrat who is a former popular conservative Governor.

If one looks at the most significant Supreme Court decisions, most will never impact the daily life of any of us. For example, I don't know anyone whom has been impacted by same sex marriage.

In my opinion, it is doubtful that any decision made in the remainder of my lifetime will do anything more than make me yawn.

The corruption of society has been impacted by same sex marriage, if your part of society then you have been impacted. It's the destruction of morals.

The involvement of Government in morals should be limited. The ruling on same sex marriage has not affected me.

Never happen when the Federalist Society hands the President the list of judges to use. To many outside organizations making rules and laws for the government to go by. Elections seemed pretty fair until the Super Pacs showed up. McConnell just got 24 million from one.

you want to see what a LIBERAL ACTIVIST JUDGE looks like ? Read all of the descents. oh thats right all as one:
Writing the dissent for the court's four liberal members in the union case, Justice Elena Kagan said the majority succeeded in its "crusade" by "turning the First Amendment into a sword."

Supreme court judges using the "a reasonable observer" EXCUSE to cover what they FELT (personal opinion) to be against trump..... "a reasonable observer" my ass... you interpret the laws AS WRITTEN and keep your "feelings" and leftist bias OUT of your decisions like you were thought in law school.

"a reasonable observer" can see that all guns should be banned, this is clear.

"a reasonable observer" can see that free speech should be banned, right ?

and on and on .. it will never end...

"a reasonable observer" .. the phantom apparition that all of a sudden pops in and saves the day... the apparition (fairyland hero) that magically represents every american in these liberal left wing descents... every time.

"a reasonable observer" can see your bullshiit... keep your bias out of the supreme court and interpret AS WRITTEN.

There is a lot of money involved on each side. Amazing that our country is run like sports teams. Always have to be divided and supporting the red team or the blue team. How about Sheldon Adelson where everyone running on the red team has to go once a year to kiss is ring. Just saying that too much money is involved on all sides.

The current POTUS made a list before he became president of who he'd nominate for the SCOTUS if elected.

I would think it would be someone off the list myself. It's our turn now and we need to take full advantage of it.

Looks like he spends his money trying to afford you the rights you are fighting for.

"Soros previously boasted a net worth of $23 billion, but after completing a transfer of $18 billion from his offices to charity, as Forbes reported in 2017, his net worth decreased to a much more modest figure, relatively speaking. The charity in question was Soros' own, the Open Society Foundations, which promotes "democratic governance, freedom of expression and respect for individual rights."
