Yes, if prepared correctly it is very nice. We had a barbecue with the old chap and one of the meats that hit the grill was ostrich steak. You have to be careful not to overcook as it is a very lean meat and dries out quickly.

i should have said bos indicus .. i tend to swing the ""brahman''' loop a little to big.. which can set a trap

Ostrich is somewhat popular here too, but not like the push for the lean low fat meat once was .
