Hey, thanks for the commentson the earlier post. This is the momma of the PHA calf I posted about earlier... Stood 3rd in a class of 29 at Ak-sar-ben. The 2 that beat her were flushes, and they turned down over $30,000 for each one... Makes a person feel good when you can raise them and compete at the bigger shows.

yearling It was a shame to send her to market, but we refuse to muck up the breed anymore then what it is.

he was so rough looking as a baby, but really turned out to be a nice steer for our neice.

now given, We do not buy calves, we lets the kids pick before we sell ours and most of our winning was done local, we dont hit the big time shows... The main point of it all is the kids are involved, and enjoy and have fun with what they are doing. :D
 
WOW, they look great! Neat to compare the before and afters. NICE looking animals!
