How did the Dixie Heritage sale go? Hoover Case was said the average was around $1300 if I remember right.

I think Hoover is right with a $1,300 average. As soon as I receive a sale report I will get some numbers up.

I was unable to get an official sale report however I have had several cattlemen ask about the sale. With a quick glance through the sale catalog the registered Santa Gertrudis and Black Angus females averaged $1,250 to $1,300. The commercial females averaged a least $850. Bulls eight month old to a yearling averaged $450 to $500.
