Are jersey cows any good to cross with angus or herferd? would it be worth it if i paid $50.a piece for full blood jersey calves to cross breed? Or can you even do that? Thank you for any info. Mark.

Jerseys are too light muscled and take alot of groceries to finish. A cross with angus or Hereford will gain you a little, but not as much as even an angus or Hereford crossed with Holstein. Jerseys do marble pretty well and are fine textured, but so do/are angus.
