anyone know anything about the old military trucks.... Jeep keisers? I'm working one, and don't know much about it.

Thanks, its one of those larger jeeps, 6x6 and can apparently handle up to 6 ft of water, according to the manual. has a 467 straight six deisel that can burn deisel, kerosene, gas, and turbofuel of some sort. 1953 model, was sitting for three years, put two new batteries on it, and it cranked right up. Will be using it as a fire truck for prescribed burning. Only problem is, its all wheel drive all the time, and has no power steering lol.

You sure you aint talking about a Kaiser?...I worked on plenty Kaisers back in the 60's...I've never ran into the 467 engine though...All that I worked on were either LDS 465 Inline 6's or NHC 250 Cummins Inline 6's...I never worked on any '53 models though

definately a keiser, i could be wrong about the size of engine, its a 4 something...
