NOT THE VAN BRUNDT!!! Please say it ain't so. We've had good luck with the IH, cheap and you can normally buy two for the price of one Deere. Never owned a deere. Have an IH reg. drill and a Great Plains no till.
I have an 8300 out in the barn. Haven't used it for years.
Good: metering system
Bad: overall width--with the end wheels a 13'4" drill will barely pass through a 16' gate.
Around here, the 750 no till drill pretty much made this one obsolete.
How wide is it,what kinda shape is it in,single disc's or double, presser wheels or chains,I have never owned a 8300,but if it was a nice one and the price was right I believe I could find room for it in my shed ;-) ..............good luck
