Japanese Radish

Every year i plant Japanese radish and just as i'm running short of other fodder the radish saves my butt.I was wondering if anybody else plants it?I have it under irrigation.

I've never planted it but I was just curious as to what it is. Is that what the proper name is, just Japanese Radish? I've never heard of it.

Thats how we know it here. It has the very strong radish taste and gets as big as a football if planted correctly. The tuber and leaves are fed to cattle as supplement fodder. We plant in late summer and start feeding when radish is about 10cm in diameter. By midwinter the radish has reached that size and continues to grow and can last in the ground until early spring.It is also frost tolerant. Potential yield appr 12tons/ha.
