Has any one ever heard of a heifer getting a bumb were you injected her with ivomec. My ag teacher got a bumb and the vet said that it was because he didn't rub it around after he shot her and said that it was normal. Another guy said that he had not heard of it and that it wasn't normal. What do you guys think. Thanks Kaneranch

Yeh it can happen but will go down before long.how many cc's did you give her in one sight and how long was your needle?i usually just put my thumb over the sight and hold pressure a few seconds to stop it from leaking back.

Seen it before. I've always considered it " normal ", same as when they get a lump after vaccinations or really any injection.

Sub Q only - quick in and out - never rubbed it and never had any lumps or bumps. Prefer the pour on myself but always keep a smal bottle of injectable on hand.

Bez!
