It's raining!!

Finally a little rain. It is not a down pour, but we will take whatever we can get. I hope the rest of North Texas is enjoying the same.

Rained steady all day here. Just like a mister has been turned on all day. I am really pleased with how much it has greened up here in the past week alone.

It pretty much drizzled for 20 hours. Not a lot of rain, but it was a slow soaker that did a lot of good. No heat or sun to evaporate it all away. I got about 1 1/2 inches at the house and about an inch at the farm.

wish we could get some of that moisture!! NOTHING for the month of july, nothing in august and september is not looking much better!! Danged surrounding fires has our little valley so hazy that the clothes hung on the line come in smelling like smoke!! My prayers with those north east of us who are having to evacuate because of the one BIG fire!!

Some rain here today,but we seem to have missed the long soak we need...more predicted for next week..
