Lost my first cow ever to bloat a few nights ago. I'm going to assume it was because we've had a lot of rain in the past week, and the clover and grasses are coming on fast with the moisture.

My question is.. I thought it was odd that only one (out of 70+) would bloat when they are all in the same pasture.. with high mag mineral, etc. etc. The few times I've had this problem in the past, it involved more than one. Luckily we've been able to save all the others.

Anyone had just one die in a lush pasture?

I have not lost any but it concerns me for the same reasons you have stated. Put high mag minerals in the feeder and they turn away from it. Have clover everywhere this year, none last year and the rye grass is lush. Good luck to you.
