Is it possiable to buy a cow that has already calved and is pregnant again? and if this is possiable about how much are they? Im in northeast missouri and probably lookin at a black angus. Thanks

yes it is, you buy a cow-calf pair, make sure they tell if the cow is bred back

In Layman's terms, it means the cow is pregnant again.

Sure can, Its called a 3 for one. Most salebarns have a sticker on them telling age of cow and # of months bred back. Fastest way too grow a herd is to buy this way.

I bought a bred cow a few years ago with a nice heifer calf at her side, the calf she was carrying was a heifer and the next calf was a heifer, I kept all three heifers, she is one of my best cows and these 3 heifers made a good addition to my herd , the calf she has now is a bull
