I'm planning on getting a angus cross heifer next month to use for breeding. Since she'll be a first calf heifer, I'm going to use Rocky Balboa, a calving ease sire on her. The only thing I'm worried about is that I haven't been able to find any pictures of calves sired by him and that makes me doubt if he's worth using for her. Is he worth it?

I know its all about genetics but it still has me worried =/

I bet if you were to get pictures of his calves they'd all be fur balls with 20+ pounds of feed thrown at them a day. I would say the rocky bull would be nice if you want a good show calf, but if you are worried about what it will look like after the hair and feed are gone you better find a different bull.
