Not exactly sure what you're saying.
 
I believe he is saying that ill behaved animals not suited for womens and youngens, suddenly develop skills on printed advertizing paper that they may not have had prior to the development or discovery of their ill behavior. They then end up in the hands of men looking for a working animal.
