Is it any different when people get ringworm

Help Support CattleToday:

Any drugstore will have treatment for it. I'm afraid the ones that are used on cattle might be a bit unpleasent for us thin skinned humans.

I got ringworm and I have a question on how to deal with it.

It is just a fungus, any toical fungicide should do the trick. When I used to get them from my cats I always smeared it with Iodine or Mercurochrome

Don't think they sell Mercurochrome anymore.

I have a pharmacist friend who when he gets ring worm uses yeast infection cream. It should be mild enough to use anywhere.

You need an anti-fungal cream like Lotrimin (generic name is clotrimazole). Apply to the affected area 2-3 times per day and keep the area clean and dry. You can usually find this in the "foot products" section of your local pharmacy or Wal-Mart. Get the generic or house brand if you can - it'll save you a few bucks.
