I wouldn't feed it to 'em, but having a road running through the pasture is fine.

Capital land and Livestock Is a pretty big operation near us and they will drop big loads of large rock around their feeders for mud control and to keep the calves feet from becoming over grown. Should be the same principle as what you are doing.

yes you can use mill run asphalt to fill up holes in your pens.it wont hurt the cattle at all.we have no telling how meny loads of old reclaimed asphalt in holding pens drive ways bramches around the dairy.
