wondering if anyone knows where I can find some insulators for those small unpainted 5 foot t posts they use for silt fences along the road? a normal t post insulator is too big. thanks

I believe these will go on any size post.

I am thinking I will try some. Black usually holds up better against UV rays, but yellow is a lot easier to locate if they get popped off

The lockjawz are nice overall. My experience with them when they get knocked off is that they usually stay connected to the wire. But I have had deer hit the wire so hard they sent them flying pretty far. I have went to timeless posts and fiberglass sucker rods because the deer are so hard on the electric fence.

Unless I misunderstand which posts OP means, which is possible, those won't work. They look to only fit standard T posts.

I use polywire, and when something tangles with it, it has a slingshot effect, Some of the insulators fly quite aways.

My experience with LockJawz is less that stellar. I removed and replaced a couple thousand of them after 1 year of use because they were constantly getting knocked off by deer and after the 2nd or 3rd time the jaws snap off and they are junk. Or the snow pushes down on them and the front wire tab breaks off. Very costly and time consuming mistake on the last farm I fenced.

I did the same thing, due to the same results.
