Neighbor had this tractor setting for a few years with a stuck engine. We mixed some acetone and ATF and put some in the spark plug holes and dumped some down the exhaust pipe since it let water in there. After two years he decided to see what would happen.
The engine freed up so we removed the spark plugs and blew out what was there. New plugs, wires, points, condenser and she fired over. With some batter help, started. He changed the engine oil and added oil to the gear box of the mower and mowed a few acres.
Battery wouldn't charge so we changed out the generator to an alt. Found a small 40 amp that easily fit into the tight space. Quite the machine for being 60 years old.
