Back on May 4th I put Python Magnum ear tags on all my cows. They did an excellent job. But now the flies are back big time. Should I re-tag with the Magnum Python tags or use one with a different active ingredient?

Use a different one and then alternate so they do not build up a tolerance.

We switch on a calendar year basis. If I have to reapply tags, I reapply the same type that year. Seems to work great for us. Just take the tags out when the flies are gone in the fall. I have heard that a weak tag builds fly tolerance to that type of chemical.
