Cow injured her foot on rebar. It went through her foot and into the joint. Tried to control infection with antibiotics, but didn't help.

What it looks like after clove removed.

Today she has healed up and doesn't even limp. We will cull her, but were able to salvage her. Total cost was around $120 including antibiotics. Was worth doing for us.

Do you have current photos of her?
It amazes me what animals can survive.

Glad you can still cull her so its not a total loss.
Sometimes I feel guilty about culling survivors, the ones that fight for their lives, but I know it's still a business.

I've see a few rough things, but never anything like this. How can she even walk with only one claw, and you said she never even limped...?
