Injector lubricant, what to use?

I have a N. J. Phillips semi auto injector and according to their maintenance video they use an oil to lubricate the barrel and oring. My question is what kind of oil should I use, of course I don't have their special oil so I was wondering what everyone else uses.

I just use a few drops of mineral oil.

I just use vegetable oil most of the time. Sometimes castor oil.

Castor oil was always the stuff to leave in them while in storage.

Castor oil came with my medi-dart to lubricate the syringe. Now I use it on my other syringes as well - doesn't harm the rubber or cause it to swell.
