I've been using Cydectin (moxidectin) antiparasitic for my cattle wormer. Its a pour-on and is handy but expensive. I've heard that there is a block mineral-antiparasitic combo that is used that is cheaper but must be available at all times to provide protection. Does anyone have any info on this product as to cost compared to pour-on or drench and is it as effective as the Cydectin and the other really expensive stuff that I can't spell.
Thanks,
Mike
Fort Worth, Texas

Hi Mike,
I tried the block wormer & found that some animals eat more than others & some won't touch it. It didn't seem that effective. Maybe others have had better luck with them. I use Ivomec twice a year & Tramisol pellets twice a year (total of 4 wormings a year). It seems to work really well & I think the added gains will pay for the cost. Hope this helps, Darla *.~
