ILR Red Power

Help Support CattleToday:

I have a few calves from him this year. Definitely calving ease. Calves are somewhat fine boned and refined and look to be middle of the pack in performance. Teat and udder score epds are very good. Just mho.

Not sure if better but KT Built Tuff is a good calving ease bull with good teat and udder scores.

I saw Red Power in person several times. Overall liked the calves. The daughters I have seen always seem to have good udders. Another option I would consider for heifers is NJW Historic 81E from Select Sires. His usage seems to be increasing and reports on his calves are they are quite stocky. He is calving ease and safe on heifers. Good pedigree that combined some good horned and polled lines.
