They give me lots of practice at unsmashing stuff, so I get them pretty nice after a bit of squashing in the 50 ton press

My service truck taking the ride of shame.. rear tank was rusty on the top, and full of water, and suddenly the pump decided to have a last breath of life and pump 2 gallons of water into the front tank. 8 axles ought to hold it! 1748057228572.png

Looks like you have enough to keep yourself out of trouble. That job appears similar to what my Dad did.
He drove a company furnished one ton Chevy with a utility toolbox bed. Gas powered air compressor and generator in the bed.
He worked on heavy equipment and tractor trailer rigs for a timber company and a feed mill. He worked hard. Smelled like 500,000 mile differential grease. I can smell him now.

I want a press like that, I keep looking at the auctions.

A wide opening and a movable (left to right) ram makes this really handy for what I do

few months ago we had a Tigercat skidder that was leaking hydraulic oil into the diffs.. I didn't know it at the time.. removed the level plug, and it had about 20 PSI behind it and 4 gallons over filled.. Head to toe shower in gear oil. That wasn't a fun day. Unit (only a year old) ended up going back to the dealer and gettting both diffs replaced.. can't remember if it was the diff lock circuit leaking or the brakes.. either way we were sure glad it was under warranty

Here was another fun day working in the muck
