I wear muck boots in the mud and muck around the barn or when its nasty out. Not the best for walking long distances but for wet and nasty weather conditions they are tough to beat.

I've always worn these in the mud. Goes back to my dairying days. Good snug fit around the ankle, very flexible and a good arch support but I wear the 10" ones rather than the tall ones. You can wear them all day without any aching feet.

Yep, good ole Xrtra Tufs. Back when there were a lot of dairies in the county I called them dairy farmer boots. I wear them from about the first of November until some time in May. I am just about do for a new pair.
