Slow night, and I'm curious. I had to go to Cheyenne the other day, and I got to counting horses in pastures. It seems that 4 is the magic number when it comes to horses, and I'm wondering why that is. Although a few pastures had less than 4, and 1 or 2 had more than 4 - the vast majority of pastures in the 85 miles between here and Cheyenne had 4 horses in them, and I'm curious as to why the numbers seem to stabilize at 4 - any thoughts? We also have 4 horses, but I don't know why - just seems to be the way it is. We had 9 a few years back, but sold 4 of them, and 1 had to be put down. Thanks for any input.
