If ever there was a morning I should have predicted a bad attitude and churlish behavior would get the better of me, it should have been this morning. If ever there was a day best not started on the internet, that ought to have been this day. If ever offense would likely be taken where none was intended, it should have been expected following a series of crises that culminated in a pair of irreparably broken teeth and a poor night's sleep. At my age,I ought to know when the stars are aligned for me to tell someone off over next to nothing and regret it. But here I was, being rude and indignant, anyway. How unladylike and embarrassing! I was raised better.

Apologies to everyone who crossed my line of fire or had to witness my inexcusable behavior. Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea culpa.

Not something to lose sleep over. There are plenty of us here that put the mouth in gear and pop the clutch prior to engaging our brain. You have not even begun to reach the level of behavior that is possible here. The way it works here - we assume the person did not intend to offend (except for a special few). If it continues, the person is issued 3 free passes for questionable behavior. If it continues beyond, then 5 free passes are issued since we had not been accommodating enough the first time. And so on. And many people here are pretty old and don't remember well anyway. Well, I forgot what the subject was, so must have not been anything to worry about.

It's okay. Most of us deserve it, even desire it. Even if we didn't deserve it at the time, we will soon, so you can consider it a preemptive strike which is an excellent tactic to keep us on our toes.

You are all very gracious. Thank you, but I try to hold myself to a standard..

@Ouachita I hope your dingleberry situation is resolved without Karmic intervention.
Me too. I'm getting too old to stand with a mirror in one hand, scissors in the other. My beer helmet causes me to lose my balance when I try to multi-task.

Are you one of those people that cuss the cows, then give them extra cubes?
Really sorry, I can't find your attitude. It's passion about a subject. We all have to deal with it within our own corral. Its what make us care about what we do.
