I need some "definitions" help

Lately, I have seen a couple, if not several posts on both here and on the Breeds board that have been using acronyms that are beyond me, and when I'm trying to read the posts over again to make sense of them, they don't make more sense, they get more confusing.

So please, I would appretiate it if someone can tell me what they mean when they mention "$B" and "$EN" ??? An example might help too...

i aggre with you abbrieveations are a pain in the butt , people are lazy , A I , artafishale intelegents or artafishale insamination , or AI All good. sorry about spelling. say what you mean.
