We have been super busy we finally got moved into the new house the first week of March so I have been busy unpacking and setting things up. In between we have had a couple horse shows and a cow show. We did ultrasound of the cattle on March 24th then got the sale heifers clipped yesterday. We are not sending but three to the sale this year due to inventory issues. We sold a big group private treaty this year that has me really questioning my sanity. I am a believer if you put cattle in a sale they better be good so folks trust me when I say these three heifers are really good and I am having a hard time parting with them.

His dam Gizmo Evergreen 907 is a many time pathfinder Boss is as good a bull that has walked our pastures. I sold him last year with the stipulation that we collect him I want to use this bull more in the future.

It has been crazy I don't know what we were thinking building at house at our age. But its done and now we can enjoy the time we have left to spend in it. I like your new bull I have been reading through trying to catch up.

Haven't been to Huxford since Jan . Don't know when I'll be back down . My aunt , David's mom, is not doing well with her memory issues so I don't call and talk to her anymore . A visit confuses her and makes it harder on her caregivers. This is my last link to my mom so it's tough on all . Please keep her family in your prayers . Glad you are in the new house and enjoying the grand girls ! We have 2 playing T ball , one playing softball and one on the high school golf ️ team . Always something to do , but I love it !

I am sorry to hear about your aunt it does make it hard, I don't have any Aunts or Uncles left and I sure miss them. Just wish I would of listened more to the stories and could remember the ones I did listen to better.

I am 70 the boss is 71 and it's jus t a number we both still stay busy we are hands on with the cattle but it's like that Toby Keith song I'm not as good as I once was lol

Don't let her kid you , that woman has forgotten more about cattle than I will ever know . She can quote you the breeding on every head of cattle on her place . Can help run the whole herd through the chute to be worked and still be going strong at the end of the day !
