This looks like a great place. But how do I stop cattle today from sending me a email every time someone likes or quotes me.

Click Your Account > Preferences > email options. Deselect the Receive forum activity newsletter box.

Go to your name top right.... down to preferences, and uncheck anything you DON'T want.... should fix that... I do not get emails for posts because I seldom read my emails anyway.

Upper right. Click on "Preferences". Then you can select or un select boxes for what you want to receive email notices for.
