Please do your own diligent research. This is what I've found doing a search. Please add any other uses you may find or know about. H202 kills mold, virus and bacteria.

To make 3% H202, mix one ounce of 35% food grade to 11 ounces of distilled water (preferably) or filtered water.

Personal Uses for H202


Athlete’s Foot: Soak feet 10-20 minutes each night in 3% h202 until condition is in remission.
Bath: One cup of 35% hydrogen peroxide to a full bathtub for a detoxifying bath. Note: try not to use this after 6-7pm as the increased absorbed oxygen may keep you awake.
Douche: Add five to six tablespoons 3% H202 to one quart of distilled of filtered water.

Foot relaxer: Add one cup of 3% H202 to one gallon of hot water and soak one half hour.
Shower: Spray after showering, with 3% H202 to restore the natural acid mantle of the skin. (Soap used in the shower removes the protective acid mantle of the skin.)

Facial: For rejuvenation and freshening after washing, saturate a cotton wad with 3% H202 and gently rub on face and neck.
Mouthwash: On arising rinse mouth with water then gargle and wash mouth with 3% H202, swishing for one half to one minute.

(Note: a dash of chlorophyll adds flavor and effectiveness.) Helps prevent colds.

Nasal Spray: One tablespoon of 3% H202 added to one cup of pure water. Spray into nasal passages to relieve congestion.

Toothpaste: Make a paste of baking soda and H202 and store in tightly sealed container. Or dip brush in 3% H202 and brush teeth.

Denture Soak: Use 3% in denture container and soak 30 to 60 minutes or overnight.

Deodorant: (Body) Saturate cotton wad with 3% H202 and rub on under arms.



ADDITIONAL USES FOR HYDROGEN PEROXIDE


Pets: Add one ounces 3% to one quart drinking water.

Vaporizer: One ounce of 35% H202 per gallon of water in a vaporizer improves nighttime breathing and helps clear sinus and bronchial congestion.

Vegetable Soak: (in place of Clorox.) Add ¼ cup of 3% H202 to a gallon of cold water. Soak light leafy vegetables 15-20 minutes. Soak thick skinned fruits and vegetables for 30 minutes (apples, cucumbers, tomatoes & etc.) If time is a problem, you can spray the vegetables with straight 3% let stand a couple of minutes, rinse and dry.

Leftover Tossed Salad: Put 1 Tbsp. 3% in ½ cup of water and spray the top of the salad with the solution before covering and refrigerating.

Marinade: In glass, stainless steel or ceramic casserole (never aluminum), place meat, poultry or fish and cover with 3% H202. Cover loosely and store in refrigerator one half to one hour. Rinse well then cook.

Kitchen Cleaner, Freshener, Disinfectant: Keep a spray bottle of 3% (straight) in the kitchen, use it to wipe off counter tops and appliances. It disinfects and gives the kitchen a fresh smell. Works great inside the refrigerator and on formica tops

Dishwasher: Add two to three ounces of 3% H202 to regular wash for dishes. Add the same for washing dishes in sink.
Laundry: Instead of bleach, add six ounces of 3% of H202 to small load of laundry:

eight ounces to large load.



Mold: Spray or wash well with 3% H202, floors, walls and furniture as allowed. Wipe dry with cloth

If to damp. If problem is real bad in a room, use humidifier with ½ cup of 35% to 2 gallon of water.

(Note: Molds and mildews are a major cause of allergies, colds, bronchial and flu sensitivities: general malaise, breathing problems and low energy.)



Insect Spray: In one gallon water stir 8 ounces (one cup) refined white sugar and 5 to 8 ounces of

3% H202.



House & Garden plants (for growth) : To one quart add one ounce 3% H202 or 16 drops of

35% H202. Mist and or water plants frequently.



Crop Spray: Many farmers are increasing crop yields by spraying with a dilute H202 water mixture.

For each acre add 5 – 16 ounces of 35% Hydrogen Peroxide to 20 gallons of water.



Hot Tubs: Start up with using 8 ounces (one cup) 35% per 500 gallons of water. Should be maintained with 2-4 ounces of 35% weekly, depending on use and direct sunshine on water. Use in place of

chlorine.



Accidents can occur with hydrogen peroxide concentrate when safety precautions are not taken and directions are not followed. For this reason, we want to stress some safety and storage tips. Read them carefully and review the way you handle the concentrate to determine whether changes must be made with your handling procedure.

Keep hydrogen peroxide concentrate out of the reach of children.
Never transfer the concentrate into unlabeled or improperly labeled containers.
If hydrogen peroxide concentrate is accidentally spilled on the skin, flush the area immediately with running water.
If hydrogen peroxide concentrate is accidentally ingested, drink large amounts of water to dilute. Stay upright and contact your doctor. It could be toxic or fatal if swallowed at full strength.
For spillage of hydrogen peroxide concentrate, dispose of according to Federal, State and local regulations.
Flush the spill area with water. Do not return the spilled material to the original container. Prevent undiluted hydrogen peroxide from entering into the sewage system. Report spills in compliance with Federal, State or local regulations.

Large quantities, such as drums, should be stored in a cool, dry area. When concentrations of hydrogen peroxide come in contact with organic materials, this may form explosive mixtures (spontaneous combustion).

Once a sterile spigot has been inserted into the drum, it should remain in place. Repeated insertions may cause lint or dust to enter, which could cause contamination of the product. After filling properly labeled containers, put a child-proof cap on and cover the spigot with a plastic dust protector.

Small quantities of 35% food grade hydrogen peroxide should be stored in the freezer over-wrapped with black plastic and labeled as to contents. Thirty-five percent food grade hydrogen peroxide will not freeze unless the temperature is 33 degrees below zero.

Low concentrations, such as 3% or 6% would freeze, so freezer storage is not recommended. Store properly labeled containers in a cool, dry place out of the reach of children.

Food-borne illnesses from fruits, vegetables, meats, fish & poultry due to bacteria, fungus or parasites are a little publicized problem. Soaking in a solution of 3% H2O2 can help kill these bad guys & also help remove pesticide residue that lingers on produce.

CAUTION: If you spill 35% Hydrogen Peroxide on your Skin, IMMEDIATELY rinse under Tap Water. It will BURN and turn the Skin WHITE, so AVOID ANY SPILLS!

Sprouting Seeds: Add 1 ounce of 3% Hydrogen Peroxide into 1 pint of Water and soak the seeds overnight. Add the SAME amount of Hydrogen Peroxide each time you rinse the Seeds. Some people have reported 3/4 inch Sprouts in 24 hours.
Plants & Flowers: Put 1 oz. of 3% Hydrogen Peroxide in 1 quart of Water. Water or mist Plants with this Solution.

Washing/Laundry: Add 8 oz. of 3% Hydrogen Peroxide to your wash instead of Bleaches that have Fumes.
Water (Disinfectant): Put 5-10 Dropperfuls (150-300 Drops) of 35% Hydrogen Peroxide in 1 Gallon, if Water is VERY CONTAMINATED!
NOTE: If the Water tastes BLEACHY, allow it to stand in an OPEN Container for several hours.
Water (Storage): Put 30-50 Drops of 35% Hydrogen Peroxide in 1 Gallon, if Water is going to be stored for MORE than 2 months).

It's great for plants as a foliar feed, 1 ozHP. to 1 qt. water) an insecticide (mix 8 oz. of molasses with 8 oz. HP, to 1 gal. of water and spray) seed germination aid (1-5 oz. HP. to 1 pint of water, soak for 8 hours)or a fruit tree rejuvinator. (8oz. of HP. to 1 gal of water.) Also as a bleach replacement use 8 oz. of 3%.

All chemicals are just as powerful in concentrated or dilute form. It does not matter if the chemical is an acid, soap or detergent. The actual molecule of the chemical does not break down or change when diluted. The only thing that changes is the number of molecules that will be in solution compared with the number of water molecules. That's why a dilute solution of Hydrogen Peroxide will perform just as well as a concentrated solution.

Now, let's clarify this.

Hydrogen Peroxide is an "active" molecule (chemical) and attacks anything it comes in contact with. It tries (and succeeds) in transferring its additional oxygen atom to anything it touches and this changes the structure of the item it touches.

Pure oxygen is very corrosive and if Hydrogen Peroxide touches a living organism, it changes the structure of the organism to a point where the organism dies.

If a very dilute solution of Hydrogen Peroxide touches a colony of bacteria, even though there may be only one molecule of Hydrogen Peroxide for every 10,000 molecules of water, this still equates to hundreds of molecules that will touch a single cell of bacterium. This will kill the cell.

The Hydrogen Peroxide will also have an effect on any skin it comes in contact with but since the solution is weak, (only a few per 10,000 molecules of water) the active molecules of Hydrogen Peroxide will soon be used up.

Only some of the surface cells of skin will be damaged but since these are dead (outer layers), the skin will soon recover. If a strong solution of Hydrogen Peroxide is used, more of the skin cells will be damaged and this is where the danger lies. This applies whether the solution is taken internally or externally.

To sum it up: A weak solution is just as effective as a strong solution (at the microscopic level) and will continue to be effective until it is used up. That's why Hydrogen Peroxide is so dangerous (effective).

To quick dry a pimple, use a cotton swab saturated in common household peroxide and dab directly on the pimple several times a day and it'll be gone by the next day. Add 4 oz to your laundry whites for bright results when you're out of bleach. Add 2 oz peroxide per container when steam cleaning your carpets! Hydrogen peroxide can replace any selling product having "OXY" in the title and it'll save you $$. Try it!"

Swimming Pools

"The therapeutic pool at Hospital Santa Monica uses only hydrogen peroxide as a purifying agent. Our office has been inundated with calls from homeowners who want to use hydrogen peroxide in their swimming pools. It seems that many are now tired of the chlorine which is a known health hazard. The average pool will require about eight gallons to begin with, then adding from one-half to one gallon per week to maintain a 30 parts per million concentration. This can easily be measure by using peroxide test strips.

You will have sparkling clear water, there will be no growth on the sides of the pool and, more important, you will not have red eyes from the irritation of the heavy amounts of chlorine in the pool water nor will your body be absorbing this dangerous chemical when you swim in it. NOTE: It has been estimated that full body contact for twenty minutes with chlorine-saturated water will allow absorption equivalent to drinking two quarts of the same water."

Farm Use

Adding 30 ppm hydrogen peroxide to drinking water on farms causes:

- chickens do not get avian flu
- egg production goes up
- chickens taste better
- soaking decontaminates salmonella from broiler carcasses
- turkeys weigh more on less feed
- turkeys have lower mortality rate
- hog meat is more lean and higher grade
- reduce or eliminate need for antibiotics
- increased milk production and butterfat content, decreased bacteria count
- less mastitis
- foliar spray for crops

Other uses on farms (at varying concentrations):
- udder wash
- pipeline, milk can, & bulk tank rinse
- converts crop residues into animal feed (soak crop residue in 1% solution for 16 hours to break down fiber so it can be assimilated)
- power wash for barns, spray on floors & walls and leave until foaming subsides, then rinse
- disinfect water on fish farms
- reduced fungal growth on fish
- fish packed in ice made from oxygenated water are better preserved
- produce sprayed with oxygenated water lasts longer

Hydrogen peroxide is just water and oxygen. It is harmless and will not show up on a chemical residue test. The same 30 ppm is used for all farm animals and results in increased oxygen levels in the blood and cells.

I can't find the link where I got this:
It can be used full strength as a mouthwash or mixed with baking soda for toothpaste.

It can be used full strength as a foot bath for athlete´s foot. (Diabetics have found relief from circulation problems by soaking their feet in 1 pint of 3% peroxide mixed with 1 gallon of warm, non-chlorinated water for 30 minutes nightly.)

A tablespoon added to 1 cup of non-chlorinated water can be used as a nasal spray. Depending on the degree of sinus involvement, one will have to adjust the amount of peroxide used. I have seen some who can use it at the full 3% strength and others who had difficulty with using a few drops and mixed with a cup of water.

3% H202 can be added to pets drinking water at the rate of 1 ounce per quart of non-chlorinated water. Sick cattle reportedly benefit from 1 pint (of 3%) to each 5 gallons of water. (Chickens and cows have remained healthy by using 8 ounces of 35% H202 per 1,000 gallons of drinking water.)

CONCLUSION

Hydrogen peroxide is one of the few simple miracle substances still available to the public. Its safety and multiple uses ranks it right up there with DMSO. If you´ve never used either of these compounds you are overlooking two of the most powerful healing tools ever discovered.

Most of us started on hydrogen peroxide shortly after birth. Not only does mother´s milk contain high amounts of H202, the amount contained in the first milk (colostrum) is even higher. This seems only reasonable now that we know one of its main functions is to activate and stimulate the immune system.

Although I am a strong supporter of H202 therapy, I am not suggesting that everyone needs to be using it. There are probably some individuals whose health and well-being would not be enhanced with hydrogen peroxide. But there are also millions of others who are suffering needlessly because they either do not know about hydrogen peroxide or they have been misinformed about its use.

I haven't got to post it yet, but yes buy the 3% over the store counter (DO NOT ingest this type) and comb your hair with it .......... lightens it naturally without the drying, brittle ends that Clairol/Nice N Easy, et al give off.

Remove Pet Odors From Carpets
Pet odors can be a very unpleasant “side benefit” of pet ownership…

While it’s true that Fido is your best friend, his doggie dander shedding hair and occasional “accidents” can make him hard to live with.

Whether its Fido or Felix the cat, pet odors can turn your home from a sanctuary into a smelly cesspool faster than you can say Jack Rabbit.

What to do?

First, forget the ammonia, forget the Clorox, forget the Mr. Clean and all the other products for general home cleaning. Just don’t waste your time. Sure you can remove dog pee from the kitchen floor with a regular kitchen floor cleaner… but it won’t do the one thing that will change the situation: remove the smell so even your pets cannot smell it.

See, pets go where they smell it is “okay” to go… and if that upstairs hall closet was previously a “watering spot” even for an animal who lived in the house before your time… Felix and Fido will not only know it, they’ll show you they know it by using the same spot themselves…

So before you get too hot and bothered at your pet, realize that it could be a natural response to an existing problem that is outside” your olfactory abilities to perceive.

Now what to do about it?

Start smart and finish fast: use a 3 percent hydrogen peroxide solution in a spray bottle and thoroughly saturate the area. Let stand. After at least 30 minutes, spray again, and then spread a paste of baking soda and 3 percent hydrogen peroxide over the area and let stand until dry. This may take overnight. Vacuum when dry.

Sodium percarbonate (dry hydrogen peroxide) can also work to help eliminate the residual odor. It is sold as oxobrite; oxyclean or pick it up at the chemicalstore.com in 2 pound buckets for about 4 dollars each plus shipping. Use it as a paste and allow to dry.

For serious persistent odors, you may need to get an odor neutralizing product to apply after the cleaning is all done. Look for products which contain zeolite powder or pick up some zeolite granules. You may want to place a sachet of zeolite crystals in the area (particularly if its a closet or small enclosed space. This will remove residual odors long term and can be placed in sunlight every so often to recharge its odor “sucking” power.

One thing to remember… if your pet is “going” in the house… there is usually a reason: either old odors are attracting it; or there are other stresses upsetting the animal or, it is possible there is a medical problem that your vet can help you resolve. But in most cases, it’s simply a matter of the nose knows.. and since our pets can detect odors much more subtle than those we perceive, your best bet is to neutralize all pet odors in the home and any areas where your pet seems prone to want to “go” indoors.

Can’t smell it.. how do I find it? Use a black light. Works great!

How to cure dog mange (demodectic) (as I've said before please do your own diligent research. Years ago I had a Boston terrier with demodectic and although Happy Jack mange medicine worked the smell was terrible and took a week or two to be effective and this would have been much easier for her.)

1. Taken internally: Try 1/8 teaspoon to 1/4 teaspoon of borax in one liter of water/day. You just drink this water throughout the day. If it runs out then drink just normal water, with some magnesium added if possible. Magnesium is found in certain seeds such as sunflower. They seem to be synergistic with the vitamin D as vitamin D promotes calcium and the body needs to balance both magnesium and calcium to an ideal amount.

2. Used externally: Dog mange is confirmed demodex mites and the only treatment that effectively cured of dog mange is 1% hydrogen peroxide and borax saturated solution applied topically. Many people believe the demodex mites is the cause of rosacea. What I am sure about is it is an insect issue. The method of killing them is external application of 1% hydrogen peroxide with borax saturated solution to the face, unrinsed. It tends to cause drying. So you can apply appropriate lotions to prevent drying, such as jojoba oil, aloe vera or lavender oil."
