Hopefully this will make some of the people that have been opposed to the checkoff re-think their position, so we can unite against the common enemy.

It's more like I WAS against the Checkoff now that it's here I'm good with it. Transparency, they preach it but finding out where the $money is spent is to general for me. Second, I don't think the government has the right to make me contribute to a private business. Third, some of the findings that used Checkoff dollars are not public knowledge. With all that being said I think it's definitely helping the cattlemen out. And it's sure helped our local and state Cattlemens association's budgets out.
