Help Support CattleToday:

I have learned that the best way to learn is by doing. Play the game, and you will learn it-maybe the hard way but you won't forget. Drive around
and meet neighbors some will be very nice and give their very best advice. After you have been there awhile you will know people and can make
up your own mine.
Look on CT search and advance search. There are years of advice there. Keep reading this for entertainment and info.

Thanks! I live in North Carolina, just outside of Raleigh.

That is a good idea, maybe to volunteer for a farmer who already has cattle and learn the ropes, so to speak.

I will wait until I have enough knowledge to take care of a few (since I need more than 1) on my own before I buy them, but I appreciate all the help. Hope it all works out! Thanks for the warm welcome.
Me too. Welcome.

Heck of a good market for pasture finished beef.
