How young can I band a bull calf using cheerios? We usually do it at four weeks, but they are sometimes big at that time and hard to get into the cheerio. Can I go any younger than that?

But if it is,coming backwards you might band it before it gets all the way out. But they are slimy and, hard to hold on to then. :hide:SIMMGAL":2p1ojlnh said:M-5":2p1ojlnh said:as Someone said on here before "they try to wait to implant and band after the calf is out of the cow".
