How to finish/fatten Black Angus on grain

I would like to get some ideas on best way to finish Black Angus steers.

1. What age to send to the butcher finished.
2. How many months of finishing?
3. Amount of grain per day per animal. (Will be feeding ground corn/barley/pellet mix)
4. Ideal weight to begin the finishing process and final finished weight.

1. 14-18mos depending on the amount of finish you want.
2. 6-12mos depending on the age of the calves when you starts
3. 1% of their body weight to grow them, 2% of their body weight to finish. Switch around 1000lbs.
4. 5-6wts to start. Should finish around 1,400lbs. Should gain 75-100lbs a month.
