how to determine the age of calf by weight beside the teeth

if average weights of black angus calves are 80-100 lbs by birth, how much weight do they gain per month. if the calf is about 300-400lbs, how many month is the calf. :help:
 
No way to tell by weight. There are far to may variables. You would be better of judging age by the length of tail.

The longer the hair on the tail is the older it is. Now that could be an old wives tale. We used to trim up the tails before they went to auction. Uncle said it made them look younger.
