How do you block/brace a feeder wagon? I chain the tongue up and block a rear wheel with two 4x6s. ...This morning the feeder wagon was down over the hill. And the tongue was flipped under the front wheels. Nothing broken and I got the tongue re-positioned. What do I need to do differently?

Is it the tricycle front type or on a running gear?
If it's a tricycle, turn the front wheel and chain the tongue up. That way the cattle just push it in a circle.

I'd say the tricycle front type. Website calls them Arrow Front Feeders.
In the back of a farm magazine under tips and tricks someone wrote in that they turned the front wheels then drilled a hole through the pivot. They put a hitch pin in the hole, locking the wheels in place while the feeder was in the field. Pull the pin and your ready to go down the road.
