How soon??

One of our females gave birth to a stillborn calf, how soon will she come in again? I know it is usually every 28 days but does that start right after losing a calf?? We don't want her to be bred by our current bull so I need to know how soon to isolate one or the other. Thanks.

Actually, cows will cycle about every 21 days. When we lost a calf a few years ago, the cow cycled in about two weeks. I doubt that was a fertile heat, but I'd get her separated within a month for sure. Good luck...
