How often to milk a cow?

Think you can buy Cefa-Lak as well through a farm store. Not sure about Hetacin, which targets E. Coli. I've always preferred Pirsue for dairy cattle...just seems to take care of the problem a lot faster. If you want to give an IM drug I've had great luck with IM Polyflex (Ampicillin), coupled with IMM treating.

is the milk normal looking or brown, clear or discolored?

It was normal looking milk. It looks lot better today, no clumps anymore. It still hurts her some, but it not swell anymore. I decided to don't put her on antibiotics yet because it's getting better now (I hope!). My husband probably will get calf for her tomorrow.I'll save all medicine names just in case something will go wrong again.
