How many steers per acre?

Being a beginner from Michigan I would like to know how many steers (from birth to market) can be raised on 20 acres of pasture? The pasture is 1/2 alfalfa 1/4 tim. 1/4 brome. I have other fields which we hay for winter feed. It is our goal to rotationally graze them through this 20 acres.

you could run 20 steers on it from weaning to butcher.an that is just steers an no cows on the pasture.

With a good rotational grazing program 20 is a reasonable number. Free range 10-12.
