How many pairs per acre on pearl millet?

If I plant pearl millet after winter wheat/Triticale May 1-15th. How tall should it be when I let the cows out to graze ? And now many pairs to the Irrigated acre? And which variety works best? Last question. How well does it dry Incase I have to cut and bale? Thanks

I saw pictures of Pearl Millet in Africa I think it was and it was 8' tall. Thought I'd get away from Sorghum-Sudan for a summer crop....not that I wanted that tall a crop.....had that with Gotcha Plus SS once and no thanks....just wanted something that had some volume for small acreage to make some money. Tried PM once and a total waste of time and money. Reason....unknown. Just did what I did for other grasses and no gotta.......
