How many bulls?

Another option I've heard other guys do to improve consistency, reduce bull costs, reduce their fence repair bill, etc. is to use their best bull via AI over the whole herd and then turn him in to do his own cleanup. It helps to keep a tighter calving window, too.

That's what I thought.

Now, there are lots of reasons to not do this (like if your still trying to figure out who your best bull is), but it's one of those simple ideas that could really translate to your bottom line.
