Banded a bunch of little bulls Saturday,and was just curious as to about how long it takes for the family jewels to fall off.

We banded a bunch on 4/23. Some lost the empty purse a week ago and some are still hanging on.

It depends on the age. If you band a 2 week old calf they will fall off sooner than one that is older. I generally band when I work the calves at weaning, around 6 months old. At that age it takes 40-45 days for them to completely fall off.
